The Rainforest Action Network is grassroots. They have real people with a real cause. The finances they receive are from the community and their main issues is not to tear down other companies. "We publicly applaud and support political and corporate leaders who show strong leadership and innovation in advancing sustainability." (www.ran.org) RAN has a set strategy to get the word out and has many campaigns all of which are non-profit. They work closely with both community and non-government organizations that help support their cause and has a website set up for those who would like to donate to the cause. "At Rainforest Action Network, we are always amazed at how much kids do to help save the world's rainforests. We wanted to give teachers and students a place to show off their hard work."(www.rainforestheroes.org) The Rainforest Action Network can be proven grassroots by the many campaigns they set up to inform the community and help with this important cause.
