Interdisciplianary program seeks to inform public of water issues. The Department of Philosophy at the University of North Texas, (Denton, TX), will be hosting the Philosophy of Water Issues Program on March 13-15. The program has been held annually since Fall 2000 and used to bring together scientists, philosophers, politicians, artists. The conference will be held at the Environmental Education, Science and Technology Building on the UNT campus where guest speakers include Robert F. Kennedy Jr., President of Waterkeeper Alliance, Ramaswamy R. Iyer Former Secretary for Water (Govt. of INDIA), as well as, many other well qualified speakers. These activist will seek to inform the public of water issues in hopes of offering new approaches for comprehending relatioships between humans, natural ecosystem, and water.
